The Academy's corporate office is dedicated to the elimination of illiteracy across the United States. The Academy in Maricopa County, Arizona has teamed up with this effort on a local level. The elimination of illiteracy at the soonest possible time is our quest and our mission.

Here in Maricopa County, the mission has begun! We have the ability to accomplish this goal in the near future through "Academy Literacy Project."

Illiteracy affects ____ of our fellow Maricopa County residents! Its effects on our residents of all ages are profound. We together have an opportunity to stop this scourge in its tracks.

Nationally, we have tremendous private support. Locally, we now want to engage individuals, groups, institutions, foundations, benevolent organizations, religious organizations, and corporations in this altruistic venture. Will you help? Here is all you have to do:

• Tell those individuals in our county who need help to achieve literacy about our program and ask them to contact us at our local schools.
• Tell groups, institutions, foundations, religious organizations, associations, and companies who care about literacy to support this effort by contacting us.
• Tell your family, friends, and co-workers about Academy Literacy Project.

This is a local, grassroots effort to eliminate illiteracy in our county!
